Our 2025 E-ONE Typhoon serves as a rescue pumper, equipped to respond to a wide range of emergencies, including structure fires, high-acuity medical calls, motor vehicle crashes, and rescue incidents. This engine was recently purchased and placed into service thanks to the continued support of our community through the passage of the bond measure. This investment allows Jefferson County Fire & EMS to enhance emergency response capabilities and better serve and protect our community.

Our Oregon State Fire Marshal (OSFM) Type 3 Wildland Engine was provided to Jefferson County Fire & EMS through a state-funded grant. This engine is primarily used for wildland fire response and statewide conflagration deployments, assisting other communities during large-scale wildfire incidents. During the winter months, the engine transitions into an off-road structure fire response unit, utilizing its four-wheel-drive capabilities to access difficult terrain and areas with challenging road conditions.
